When a payment is processed, the TurboGarage user interface is updated real-time with the new payment information. No need to refresh the screen. Using this feature, shop owners are able to send a secure payment link to customers when the vehicle repairs are complete. This can save even more time because customers have the option of paying for their vehicle repair before they even show up to the auto shop.
TurboGarage’s auto repair payment software also allows for manual entry of credit card payments. This is useful when a shop uses a separate POS system that does not integrate with TurboGarage. Allowing manual entry allows a payment to be entered into the TurboGarage system, and to be recorded like any other live transaction would be. User’s have the ability to record the amount, a note, last 4 digits of the card, and expiration date. This information is securely stored in the TurboGarage database and can be accessed at any time.

Sometimes a costly auto repair can be difficult for a customer to pay for in full. TurboGarage’s auto repair payment software integrates with Affirm which allows the customer to pay over time. The shop receives their payment just as if the customer had used a credit card, but the customer has the ability to choose a payment plan that fits their budget - a true win-win! There is no learning curve for the shop, it’s the same process as accepting any other web payment. The customer will choose to use Affirm and will be walked through the process.
Setting up TurboGarage’s auto repair payment software functionality is easy. Out of the box, users can add manual payments without any setup. If a shop wants to accept Affirm, credit cards on the web, or cards via a terminal reader, our admin tool makes the setup process quick and easy. Start by setting up your Stripe integration. Once that is done, your shop can accept web payments. If you purchase a card reader, you can then easily add the reader via our admin tool and start accepting payments that way as well.
