TurboGarage supports two-way messaging between your shop and your customers. Send an estimate or invoice, photos, template and/or custom text messages. Text messaging has become the preferred method of communication for the majority of customers. Communicating through text increases sales, and drastically cuts down on the amount of time it takes to communicate back and forth with a customer.
The TurboGarage Customizable Workflow board makes it easy to keep track of the progression of work for your tickets. It allows shop owners to create workflow steps based on ticket status, technitian assignments, or anything else. No two shops are alike and because it is customizable, you can set it up any way you like!
Creating and updating appointments in TurboGarage is easy using the easy-to-use scheduling feature. This calendar-based control, lets the user view the calendar in Day, Week, or Month view. Creating appointments is as easy as clicking on the desired time, entering a customer's contact information, and save!
Creating repair orders (also known as 'Tickets') in TurboGarage is easy! Our interface is very flexible. Selecting from existing customer and/or vehicle data is easy. For a new customer and vehicle, we have multiple ways to look up a car including our new VIN and license plate scanner. Adding jobs and/or items to a ticket is also available from multiple sources.
Once a Ticket is completed, it is moved to the 'Invoice' stage. At this time, customers are able to pay in person, or online using the TurboGarage online payments feature. A clear invoice can also be downloaded, printed, and/or sent to the customer for review. At tax time, our reports feature also allows reports to help with year-end deadlines.
TurboGarage allows users to take and upload photos to the platform via the mobile application, or directly in the portal. All photos uploaded by a shop are added to that shop's photo repository. Photos can then be sent to customers and/or included with a specific ticket. In addition, our multi-point inspection (MPI feature) also allows the user to associate one or more photos with a particular line item.
Each technician user in TurboGarage can access their own personal time clock. Every time a clock is started or stopped, a record is saved in the TurboGarage database. Using the TurboGarage reporting feature, managers are able to run clear and concise reports for a given technician or for the whole shop that will show time entries for a given date range with roll-up data included.
TurboGarage features a full-blown/customizable inventory management system. Add/remove/delete inventory items and their quantities at your discretion. When you add an inventory item to a ticket, the quantity is automatically adjusted up or down based on the ticket activity.
TurboGarage has an easy to use reporting engine which gives you a clear window into your shop's numbers. Our most basic reports can show detail on a particular ticket, up to shop activity over years of time. End of Day and Business Performance reports are some of the most common. TurboGarage has partnered with PartsTech© - the industry-leading solution for online parts ordering. PartsTech© puts all of your wholesale parts suppliers in one look-up. Search once and see your wholesale pricing and live local inventory from all of your parts suppliers. TurboGarage automatically imports parts from PartsTech directly into your Ticket. We also help manage orders via our parts ordering interface.
The TurboGarage.com mobile app, now available for both Android and iOS operating systems, allows any users to scan license plates and/or VIN's, take photos, and associate photos with vehicle repair orders. Using the mobile app makes vehicle lookup a breeze. The photo feature allows auto shop's to send a visual representation of the work that needs to be done to a particular vehicle leading to increased approvals and conversion rates.
When it comes to accepting payments, TurboGarage partners with Stripe.com©, the industry-leading 3rd party online payment provider. TurboGarage facilitates accepting multiple payment methods. Purchasing a card-reader from Stripe© will allow you to accept direct payments from your customers. Manual and cash payments are also accepted using the TurboGarage payments user interface.
One of our goals is to make TurboGarage accessible to all automotive repair shops, regardless of the location or the workforce. To help accomplish that goal, we have designed the TurboGarage website and portal from the ground up to be multilingual. We currently have support for English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. This list of languages will be expanded over time.
Multi-Point Inspections (MPI) are a crucial part of the automotive repair process. TurboGarage allows shop owners to set up customizable MPI templates to fit their own needs. Once a ticket is created, multiple inspections may be added and associated with it. An inspection is divided into sections, with one or more lines in each section. Each line has text entry, and a Green/Yellow/Red checkbox and photo upload capabilities.
